You are a job applicant and have found work....
Unfortunately, these are less hours than the hours for which you receive the payment of unemployment benefits or the hourly wage is lower than your payment of unemployment.
So what you do now? That the UWV steals your earned wages and that you are therefore working for the man in the street is a myth.
You can keep a part of everything you earn, so working certainly pays off, even if you receive (additional) a payment of unemployment.
Of course, you must remain registered as a job applicant and are still required to apply for a job.
Would you like to know how much you will increase if you start working and still receive a payment of unemployment?
On the website of the UWV you will find a handy calculator tool, which you can use to calculate this for yourself. If you still have doubts, you can always contact the UWV for more information: 0900-9294.
Of course you can also check the UWV website yourself.
